Description
This attractive ceramic Mini Pampa Vases are unique pieces of decorative folk art, meticulously hand-painted and glazed by artisans from San Antonio Palopó, Guatemala, a center celebrated for its vibrant pottery traditions. Both vases share a distinctive hourglass or flared silhouette, divided into two tall, connected spouts. The vase on the left (the “bird” pattern) features a white body adorned with a colorful hummingbird and large, stylized flowers, with the spouts accented in terracotta orange. The vase on the right (the “plain” or liso pattern) is covered in the region’s characteristic dense, repeating pattern of blue, teal, and brown teardrop or “peacock feather” motifs. These charming, double-spouted pieces beautifully showcase the playful yet detailed artistry of the Lake Atitlán region.
