This charming ceramic Small Bell is a unique piece of miniature folk art, meticulously hand-painted and glazed by artisans from San Antonio Palopó, Guatemala, and is sold individually. The bell has a distinct flared shape and features two available hand-painted designs: one (the “bird” pattern) is adorned with a detailed hummingbird and floral scene against a white base with a terracotta accent band, while the other (the liso or “plain” pattern) is covered in the region’s characteristic high-contrast, rhythmic pattern of blue, aqua, and terracotta teardrop motifs. Each bell is finished with a cobalt blue rim and loop, beautifully showcasing the playful yet detailed artistry of the Lake Atitlán region.
